About Us

Founded in 1989, Boy Scout Troop 1324 is part of the Phoenix District in the Sam Houston Area Council of the Boys Scouts of America. The troop is chartered by the St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Community, located at 7810 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, Texas 77379

Troop 1324 is a very active Boy Scout troop with a long history of producing fine Eagle Scouts. Our troop invites boys, ages 11-18, to learn everyday life skills, as well as outdoor and camping proficiency, while practicing leadership and service in the community. We try to provide boys with positive role models, education, and chances to learn and practice leadership skills. The program also develops a wide base of skills for boys to use throughout life (e.g., first aid, citizenship).

The troop normally meets weekly on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m., in Sexton Hall at the church. We try to camp out at least once a month. We always have a full summer camp each year and normally a high adventure program. Further, we initiate or participate in many other activities, including a variety of service projects to contribute to our community.
